ANTILOG announces Barres Version II.0.1.
LOMME, FRANCE, April 14, 2005 - Antilog today
released Barres II.0.1, a minor update of their
low-price EPSF Barcode Creator for the Macintosh.
Barres is a simple barcode generation application for
Macintoshes. It can generate the following barcodes:
UPC (12 digits), EAN13 (13 digits) and SCC14 (14
digits). By extension of the EAN code, the JAN13 and
ISBN-EAN formats can be created.
With Barres, the simple barcode generator, you can
generate barcode graphics yourself, simply and
inexpensively, using your Macintosh. Simply launch
the application, type in the desired barcode number,
and the resulting barcode graphic is generated. You
can save it in a resolution-independent (vector)
format, either a standard epsf file or a PICT image.
The barcode file created can be imported onto your
favorite page-layout, word-processing, or
illustration program. Barres generated graphics have
been tested with the most important illustration or
desktop publishing softwares (XPress, InDesign,
Photoshop, Illustrator, ....) in a professional
environment.
.... WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION II.0.1 ? ...
This update fixes a subtle crashing bug wich appeared
rarely in certain conditions during the very first
launch of the software, and corrupted the preference
file. If you experienced this bug, you should delete
the corrupted preference file: please contact us if
you don't know which file to remove.
In addition, several minor issues have been
addressed.

Barres II.0.1 is usable for all Macintosh running Mac
OS 9.1 or later, or any version of Mac OS X. It is
available immediately.
This Shareware is priced at only $30 (25 euro) for
one single-user license, and $27 (22 euro) for
quantity >= 5.
The update is free for all registered users of
version II. Registered users of versions I.x.x can
update for just $20 (17 euro).
